New Way To Young Skin

Ever since it was proven by the introduction of Retin A (Vitamin A) by Dr. Albert Kligman, at the University of Pennsylvania, that certain vitamins applied directly to the skin can treat wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots, Scientists have been experimenting with different formulations of vitamins A, C and E to determine which will have the most dramatic effect on aging skin.

Of these, vitamin C offered the best hope. "Vitamin-C is a natural antioxidant that neutralizes the free radicals produced by smoking, pollution and the sun," reports Dr. Diane Berson, Department of Dermatology, N. Y. U.

In 1992 at Duke University Medical Center, Professor of Dermatology Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, conclusively proved that L-ascorbic, at a 10% concentration, applied directly to skin, would stimulate the growth of collagen and produce astounding rejuvenating effects, and in time actually result in younger skin (not just younger "looking" skin).

The race was on by cosmetic firm Scientists to develop a serum containing a stable form of vitamin C that would be the most absorbent and produce the most dramatic effect in under a year.

The two things competing Scientists agree on is that to be effective, a topically applied vitamin C product would have to be a serum (creams can not do the job) and the concentration should be 10%. More is NOT better.

Virtually all of the vitamin C serum products that resulted combine a source of vitamin C (usually Ascorbic Acid) with other ingredients to produce what the manufacturers refer to as their new "ingredient" (such as CELLEX-C™ which is simply that company's name for their combination of L-Ascorbic Acid, Zinc Sulphate and L-tyrosine.)

Other ingredients, such as Bioflavonoids, and herbal extracts are then added to this new vitamin C ingredient. Each company feels their choice of "other ingredients" (which are necessary to stabilize and enhance absorption) make their vitamin C serum more effective then their competitor's. Cellu-C+ Serum™ Instructions

1. The instructions for this serum are mostly common sense and applicable when applying just about any potent vitamin serum to facial skin. Be sure your face, AND hands, are clean and 'dry' before using. If your hands are still wet, after scrubbing your face, neck and upper chest clean, you will be diluting the Serum. This will result in a less effective treatment. It will take longer before you notice results and may diminish the serum's anti-oxidant properties, which help protect skin cells from the damaging effects of free radicals.

2. When and how often one uses Cellu-C+ Serum™ is a personal decision determined by economics as well as need. For most people once a day is sufficient. Those with severely damaged skin may consider two applications every other day. More than that would be wasteful and will not result in faster or better results. If you do have 'severely damaged' skin and want to attempt two applications daily (one in the morning and one at night) be very cautious. Test a small patch of skin on one cheek for one or two nights. If there is no irritation or adverse reactions, you may try a second application every other day. When applying at night, allow sufficient time for the serum to penetrate deep into the skin before going to bed or you will lose the serum that meets your bedding. If you use it in the morning, allow it to penetrate five minutes before applying ANYTHING else (sunscreen, moisturizers, etc.).

3. To Use: Place a few drops at a time on your finger tips and use your finger tips to massage the serum into your facial skin and, if needed, your neck and upper chest. If you apply the serum to the lower eyelids and 'squint' lines at the sides, you should not do so before going to bed. (To avoid even the possibility of it getting into your eyes while you sleep). Do not apply this, or any potent serum, to the upper eyelids! It makes no difference if it is day or night! Do not get it in your eyes! If any serum gets into the eyes, flush out with cool water immediately!

4. When a potent Vitamin C serum is first applied, it may sting a bit. This is good as well as normal. It is a sign the serum is working. Once it completely dries and penetrates into the skin, Cellu-C+ Serum™ will not be effected by other skin-care products you may wish to apply ( sunscreen, moisturizers, make-up etc.).

5. As with most medications: Keep In A Cool Dark Place. Do Not Refrigerate !

6. More Is NOT Better! Because a little Cellu-C+ Serum™ works so well, many people believe more will work even better. It will not! Applying more to an 'area' may irritate the skin. At the very least, it would be a waste of your money.

Results? Within six weeks, you should notice improved skin tone. A few weeks later lines around the eyes will begin to diminish. Depending on their depth, laugh lines and deep creases can take up to several months to show improvement, but they will!

Tips On Cellu-C+ Serum™

Cellu-C+ Serum™ is a very high potency vitamin-C+ Serum designed to reverse the aging of facial, neck and upper chest skin, in about 8 months of uninterrupted daily use. Similar products are on the market. This formulation is different, and we believe much more effective. Do not expect the overnight results one obtains with a face-lift. The changes in skin tone will be noticeable in a few weeks. Changes in skin texture will be subtler. How long before they are 'noticed' depends on how deep these wrinkles are. Between eight and ten months of continuous use, seem to afford the best and most noticeable results. By then the difficult crows feet and laugh lines, in addition to the easier to erase fine lines which often diminish altogether, should be noticeably smoother.

Among the first, and most noticeable, signs of aging are the hands and elbows. Many women obtain astounding result on their face and neck, only to complain that their hands gave their age away. Applying excess serum to these areas will prove very rewarding. It is very important to use this type of product continuously, without interruption. To obtain the maximum benefit, do not skip days.

The use of 'scrubs' and/or products designed to create light 'face peels' i.e. (Retinoic Acid, Image Recovery or other Alpha Hydroxy acid products) have proven beneficial to those applying vitamin C serums. The reason is that if used after dead skin has been removed by these products (or by rubbing hard with a face cloth or scrub pad) the vitamin C serum will be absorbed into the skin much faster and more thoroughly. If you use such products, and you are encouraged to do so, allow at least eight hours between their application and that of a vitamin C serum.

It goes without saying that you should always use a good sun block, even if you do not use 'anything' else! This good advice becomes critical when using a very potent vitamin-C+ Serum. It would be foolish to use these very expensive serums to diminish the visual signs of aging, which are due primarily to sun damage, and then fail to protect your skin from further sun damage and deterioration by not wearing a sun block.

Filatov, the eminent Russian Ophthalmologist, was a gardener in his spare time. Two- series of experiments were performed to study the effect of placenta extract on rats with slow healing wounds. It was found that placenta applied to rats with slow-healing wounds began to heal at a normal rate, or parallel to control rats that had wounds not aggravated by infection or inflammatory applications.

The experiments provide evidence that placenta extract does restore a normal rate of healing time in cases where healing is retarded by inflammatory response.

Human Cells And Placenta

Placenta is a safe therapeutic agent with potent regenerating activities on all human tissue. When introduced into humans (internally), it can reinforce deteriorating cells and hence bring back or restore their youth. Professor Paul Weiss of the New York Rockefeller Institute has substantiated that cells do contain specific factors that can influence rejuvenation of other cells.

What Placenta Extracts Can Do

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers: The parenteral administration of Placenta for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers was particularly investigated in Japan, where 14 studies were achieved. These studies were carried out on about 270 subjects. The efficiency of the treatment was found in 80% of the treated patients. These results were objective by 3 double blind studies and by numerous X-rays and endoscopic observations. The authors conclude that Placenta has proved to be one of the most effective drugs for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Healing of surgical wounds and varicose ulcers: Clinical studies were carried out, mainly in Switzerland and Italy, in order to show the healing activity of Placenta. These studies included more than 250 patients with surgical wounds, varicose ulcers, fistulae or abscess. All the investigators emphasize the good results obtained, particularly in these cases where, in addition to local application of placental extract, the product was administered parenterally.

Treatment of odonto-stomatological diseases:Twenty-five clinical investigations were done in Japan; among them, 5 were double blind studies. 825 patients suffering of gingivitis, pyorrhea alveolaris, aphtous stomatitis, periodontitis or arthritis of the jaw joint had been administered intramuscularly with Placenta. In some cases of inflammatory diseases, the placental extract was successfully injected in the gum. The treatment was effective in more than 75% of the treated patients and it was concluded that Placenta is a valuable drug clinically applicable in the odonto-stomatological field.

Pharmacological data: The wound healing effects of Placenta was proved in various experimentations including healing of experimental guinea pigs and rats, action on the healing, and epithelization and vascularization of the cornea (rabbit), protective and curative action on u.v. erethema (man), prophylactic and therapeutic activity on various experimental ulcers (rats). The healing activity was observed after both parenteral and/or suppository administration of the product. The anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic action of Placenta was objective in rats (Seyle), granuloma and freund arthritis. the anti-inflammatory effect of the product has been found more potent than that of Phenylbutazone.

Toxicity: No general toxicity (six months), no carcinogenic or teratogenic activity was observed during long term studies in animals treated with doses ranged from 100-2,500 times the recommended therapeutic human dosage.

Q. What makes the Formula work?

A. Mostly it's the polysorbate and some other ingredients.

Q. Polysorbate you accidentally stumbled onto when you were doing cancer research?

A. Yes, it causes cell division, removes cholesterol from cells so they divide.

Q. Cholesterol buildup on the scalp causes baldness?

A. Cholesterol is the grounds for androgen male hormones. Its needed in cell membranes, but when there is too much, it blocks and stops the cells from dividing. The formula cleans and loosens the tissue from around the follicles, so the cells divide.

Q. Is polysorbate safe to use ?

A. Absolutely safe.

Of the many studies conducted in various parts of Europe the most impressive was Dr. Purola`s six year study which involved 273 men and 47 women. In about three weeks after beginning treatment, hair loss was stopped and new growth appeared in 80% of those participating in the hair treatment program. RESEARCH: 5-Alpha-Reductase (5AR) is an enzyme in the body which converts the hormone testosterone into Di Hydro Testosterone  or (DHT) . DHT is important developmentally early in a man's life.
